Dream you’re mine

The journey from miscarriage to whatever comes next

I’m a 39 year old who has had five miscarriages in 15 months and looking for some understanding, peace and hope.  Although it feels like that defines who I am now, I’m also a lover of animals, knitting, running, music, outdoorsy stuff, books, red wine, Summit beer and ice cream.

I just searched the internet 4 miscarriages and your blog came up. I am 39 and have had 4 m/c and wondering what to do. I am starting to look into adoption, and I read you were looking into it and are now pregnant. Your words have inspired me and given me hope. Thanks for sharing your painful and heartbreaking journey.

    Thanks
    Sarah

I came across your blog because I was searching for stories of women who had experienced multiple miscarriages. I too am 39 and have suffered 4 miscarriages in 12 months – two chemical pregnancies and two missed miscarriages requiring D&C at 9 weeks. I seem to have had every test possible with normal results on everything except for Natural Killer Cells – which seem to divide the medical community. Its hard to know how to think or feel anymore about the whole process, but I am so pleased that you have made it past the 12 week stage. It gives me hope.
