No news December 6, 2008

Sorry for the lack of update yesterday!  I POAS again and it was slightly darker, but still maybe 50% of the control line.  That was yesterday.  Today I decided to pass.  And I don’t go for another blood test until Monday to see what is going on with hcg levels.  So just hanging out…..

Spotting continued yesterday.  Sometimes pink.  Sometimes red.  

I’m pretty detached by the whole thing.  I think I’m to the point that somebody has to prove to me that I am pregnant with an actual baby who will make it before I’ll really believe it.

Beta results at 12 dpo December 4, 2008

According to the nurse, I’m on the low side.  My hcg was 20 at 12 dpo and I’m retesting Monday.  Progesterone is 22.5 (I’m on endometrin).  

Still had some spotting today.  

In good news, my tsh level was 0.5!  It started at 5.2 awhile ago and then dropped down to 3.4 last month.  Knowing my luck, that is probably too low now!

Mixed messages–12 dpo December 4, 2008

Ok, technically I got a super faint positive this morning.  There is a second line, but it is only viewable by the highly trained eye of an obsessive POAS-er, who has peed on what seems like thousands of sticks!  : )

But yesterday I had some spotting and my temp has gone down for the third day in a row.  Symptoms have really subsided.  It just doesn’t seem like it is a viable pregnancy.  I know it is still early and lots of women spot, but I’m just not feeling confident….

Here’s the chart.  The first one is a comparison of all my pregnancy cycles.  Sep ‘07 and Mar ‘08 were the chemical pregnancy/blighted ovum cycles.  I lost one at 15 dpo and one at 18 dpo, so I guess we’ll see what happens in the next week.

My boobs are covered in a road map.  They are covered in blue veins.  I’m pregnant.  There is really no other reason for that.

I’m not testing until Thurs though.

10 DPO December 2, 2008

Thanks for the encouragement in the comments!  I’m not feeling nearly as sure as I was in the last couple of days, so that gave me the shot in the arm I need.

No new symptoms.  I must have peed every 10 mins yesterday!  Otherwise it feels like there are less symptoms or they aren’t as strong.  Although fertility friend is now saying 67% of the charts like mine are pregnant and my point estimator is up to 86 points.  

I did take a pregnancy test today and it was negative.  I never get a positive until 12-13 days, but was hoping this time would be different.  Sigh….

9 DPO December 1, 2008

Here it is, 3:30 am and I had to pee for the third time last night.  Hmmm….

So here are the symptoms:

• Super tired–I ended up taking two naps yesterday and going to bed at 8:30
• Hungry.  In fact, I was so hungry after peeing this last time that I had to get up and eat something.
• Very dizzy

I’d say I’m pregnant.  I was so convinced of it yesterday that a deep, gripping fear took hold of me and I tried to google success stories of women who have babies after four miscarriages.  It was hard to find.  Luckily I know of a couple of women who are having success this time around and they give me hope.
